Wild About Sailing

Try sailing a 28-foot keelboat in a safe, comfortable environment while exploring your learn-to-sail options.

We will meet at Fox & Monocle at Canoe Cove at 8:30 for introductions and then. make our way down to the boat. We will be out on the water until 4:00 pm in the afternoon.

To fully enjoy the day, please bring along:

• a packed lunch
• layers for warmth - it is cooler on the water and in the wind then it is on land so recommend layered clothing including a rain coat if rain is forecast for the day.
• shoes with soft, grippy soles; sneakers work great for traction and are non-marking
• protection from the sun: well fitting hat and sunglasses; sunscreen

This is a first-time sailing experience for novices. Sessions end with a conversation about

• What you learned
• Sailing goals and dreams
• Potential next steps in your learn-to-sail journey
