This is a full sailing week combining our Learn to Sail (Start keelboat Sailing) and Learn to Skipper (Basic Cruising) offerings!

​​The plan: We'll complete the Sail Canada Start Keelboat Sailing and Basic Cruising standards.
  • Two-day Learn to Sail - Monday and Tuesday August 25, 26, 2025
  • Three-day Learn to Skipper - Wednesday through Friday August 27-29, 2025.​
​Fees: Fees for the week are $1,625 per person (excl. taxes and textbook), and we'll ask you to pay in advance to hold the week for you. Terms and conditions for things like cancellations are posted here.

  • ​A variety of layers (including windproof/waterproof shell and pants)
  • ​A hat (with a tether), sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Any medication you usually take during the day
  • Light-soled shoes or runners, and sailing gloves if you have them
  • Your lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
Our sailing days: Here's what we'll be doing each day
  • ~9:00 am: Meet Slip D097 at Canoe Cove or pick up at SNSYC reciprocals dock + safety checks
  • ~9:30 am: Off the dock
  • ~ 4:00 pm: Back at the dock for drop off

This program will follow these Sail Canada standards
