Wild About Sailing

Learn the fundamentals of sailing aboard a 28-foot keelboat in this two-day class for novice sailors.

You will learn:

• Sailing terms, theory and safety information in a two-hour pre-course orientation
• About preparing the boat for your sailing day
  • How to sail the boat safely and efficiently
  • Skills related to sail handling, steering, knots, weather and motoring

Students who successfully complete this course receive Sail Canada's Start Keelboat Sailing certification and are ready to crew on daytime adventures with an experienced skipper.

• Your goals and dreams
• Potential next steps in your learn-to-sail journey
